Headband

Here's an easy weekend project that perhaps you can try.

All you need is just 2 long leather straps (Other alternatives would be 3 or 4 straps or you can even use your old bras' strap), 2 smaller pieces of leather scraps, a rubber band, glue and scissors.

1. Cut up 2 small pieces of leather scraps as wide as 2 leather straps and apply glue as shown in the picture below.

2. Place the 2 leather straps on the glue, insert the rubber band and glue the leather scrap together leaving an allowance or loop for the rubber band.

3. Do the same to the other side of the leather strap.

There you have it!  A self-made Glecian headband that could cost you up to AUD$20 in local hair accessories stores, for less than $3.
